Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have sparked rumours of an impending divorce after listing their Beverly Hills mansion for sale. According to a June TMZ report, the couple initially attempted an off-market sale. However, on Thursday, the website revealed that their 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom home is now publicly listed for $68 million. Lopez and Affleck bought the property for $60.85 million last year after two years of searching in Los Angeles’ most expensive neighbourhoods.

The 38,000-square-foot home was reportedly revamped within the previous four months, according to the current listing, which might account for the $3 million price increase.

The five-acre property also includes a separate 5,000-square-foot guest apartment, a two-bedroom guardhouse, a caretaker house, a large 12-car garage and space for 80 vehicles.

For in-home entertainment, the house has a basketball and pickleball court, a bar, a sports room, a boxing ring and a fully furnished gym. The public listing of their property comes just days after they spent the Fourth of July apart, with Affleck in Los Angeles and Lopez in the Hamptons.

As ET was informed by a source, they were making an effort to remain “as amicable as possible” during the difficult period.

According to the insider, “they still want the best for everyone involved,” which includes their children, their families and their mutual acquaintances.

Along with Affleck’s three children, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner are Lopez’s 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony. Affleck apparently never even “liked” the house, despite spending considerable amounts of money on it.

An insider revealed to PEOPLE last month that the couple had been dissatisfied with their purchase for some time. Nonetheless, PEOPLE has stuck to its claim that the property was just “way too big” for J.Lo.

On the other hand, according to sources who spoke with Page Six recently, the couple’s chances of getting back together are “slim” because their marriage has been “over for months.”
