Bigg Boss 11: Has Vikas Paid the Promised Prize Money to Arshi, Jyoti? Here's the Truth
Vikas, the man behind hit shows like 'Gumrah' and 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui', entered the show as a celebrity contestant and formed an alliance with actor Hiten Tejwani and commoners Arshi Khan and Jyoti Kumari.

Soon after Bigg Boss 11 got over, finalist Vikas Gupta had said that he would divide his prize money, Rs 6 lakh, between fellow contestants-- Arshi Khan and Jyoti Kumar.

"I will give them Rs 3 lakh each. Jyoti stood by me like a rock when the whole house was against me. Arshi, too, was protective of me. She cared more about me as a friend than the show," Vikas had said at the time.

However, a tweet on one of Bigg Boss' fan pages claimed that "Vikas did not gift his prize money to Arshi or Jyoti as he had promised and it was a fake publicity stunt by him to gain more sympathy and attention."

When Arshi was asked about it, she tweeted: “Ok. This is what I said to @TheKhbri after they dm’ed me repeatedly. And yes, I don’t need it. Never did. Peace ”.

The reality TV star also posted the screengrab of the conversation she had with the said fan page to clear the air.

Rubbishing all such claims, Vikas tweeted: "Idiots of the first order. Jyoti has already received 50 percent of the prize money in the month of March. As for Arshi when offered 50 percent, she said she does not need it. She earns a lot of money. So that part of the prize money has been spent on people who need it."

In another tweet, he added: "And kindly stop trying to be in news or make news at my expense".

Meanwhile, Vikas is currently gearing up for his new web series Punchh Beat, which will also mark Splitsvilla heartthrob Priyank Sharma's acting debut.
