Throughout Bigg Boss 17, the connection between first runner up Abhishek Kumar and rapper Khanzaadi kept audiences hooked to their screens.

Bigg Boss 17 wrapped up its latest season on January 28, with stand up comedian Munawar Faruqui emerging as the winner of the controversial reality show. Throughout the season, the connection between first runner up Abhishek Kumar and rapper Khanzaadi kept audiences hooked to their screens. Despite Khanzaadi’s mid-season eviction, their love-hate relationship left fans speculating about their bond. The Udariyaan star’s flirting with the former Hustle 2.0 contestant added spice to the show. As the actor secured the first runner up position, during the interview with Instant Bollywood, Abhishek was asked about his interest in meeting the rapper and the possibility of seeing them together in the future.

He said, “I do like Khanzaadi, but in such situations, I used to express inside the BB house that before taking a step forward, I need to see and understand a lot of things and obviously, she would also want to know things about me too. So, if something happens, we are friends at least. There was flirting and while flirting, there was a bit of attraction. I won’t say love, I’m not missing her, but I was attracted to her. I liked talking and sitting with her. Even now, I actually want to meet her and see how things move forward.”

Abhishek Kumar’s journey in the Bigg Boss house was filled with highs and lows. He first had a meltdown as his former girlfriend Isha Malviya made his stay challenging. Later, when her boyfriend Samarth Jurel aka Chintu entered the show, the tree engaged in numerous arguments. Once their quarrel escalated so much that the Bekaboo star slapped Samarth in anger. Despite the difficulties, he managed to remain positive during the tough times and reached the grand finale. In the end, Abhishek didn’t win the prestigious trophy. It was comedian Munawar Faruqui who emerged as the winner while Abhishek took the second spot.

As the actor returned to his home after the reality show’s conclusion, Abhishek received a warm welcome from his family. A video capturing the celebration shows Abhishek’s family performing an Aarti while he took blessings of his elders by touching their feet. The family went the extra mile to celebrate his return as they decorated the house and showered him with love. The celebration continued as Abhishek, surrounded by his friends and family, was also seen cutting a cake.

While Munawar Faruqui won the show and Abhishek Kumar stood second, Mannara Chopra took the third spot, followed by Ankita Lokhande and Arun Mashetty.
