Censor Board Favours Powerful Filmmakers, Says Raag Desh Director Tigmanshu Dhulia
The film Raag Desh which is based on Red Fort trials of Indian National Army soldiers, also talks about the contribution of Subhas Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army (INA) in India’s independence.

National Award winning director Tigmanshu Dhulia, who won plaudits for his popular films Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and Paan Singh Tomar, is back with yet another interesting project. This time, he uses 70mm screen to focus on the story that revolves around three officers of the British Indian Army — Colonel Prem Sehgal, Colonel Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon, and Major General Shah Nawaz Khan — prisoners of war in Malaya, Singapore and Burma. The film Raag Desh which is based on Red Fort trials of Indian National Army soldiers, also talks about the contribution of Subhas Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army (INA) in India’s independence.
