However, another talking point about the concert is the identity of the ‘mystery guest’ who is set to join the band on stage. Speculations have arisen on social media that this guest is Anuv Jain and fans have yet again expressed disappointment.
Rumours are rife that Anuv Jain will open for Coldplay in Mumbai on January 18 and 19. Although there is no confirmation from either Coldplay or Anuv Jain about the same, social media users have expressed their hot takes on the matter.

There is also buzz that Coldplay is likely to add another show in India. Several unconfirmed reports and posts on X claim that Chris Martin is likely to perform at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on January 25, 2025. The speculation has left netizens across the country super-excited and as a result, hotel prices in the city have soared. It is important to note that neither Coldplay’s Ahmedabad show nor Anuv Jain’s opening act have been confirmed.
