Director Dinesh Ravichandran Meets Rajinikanth, Seeks Blessings For His Next Rathamaarey

Director Dinesh Ravichandran is all set for his upcoming film titled Rathamaarey. Meanwhile, the director along with his team met superstar Rajinikanth and shared the photo, which is currently going viral. Sharing the picture with superstar Rajinikanth on his official X handle, director Dinesh Ravichandran wrote, “We met our SUPER STAR & got blessings for our upcoming film #Rathamaarey thalaivaaaa. Million thanks to @anirudhofficial, @Nelsondilpkumar, and @VigneshShivN for the wonderful vibration word #Rathamaarey.”

According to reports, the upcoming film is produced jointly by TSS Germany Films, V2 Creation, and New Jersey, a film company formed through crowdfunding.

Meanwhile, in a media interaction, director Dinesh Ravichandran shared about his upcoming film, “We have created this film with a dense screenplay of events that happen in the lives of human beings from three angles in three stages of fear, monastery, and cultivation. We are busy with the final work. I have strongly recorded some important incidents that I have seen in my life that affected me and that need to be changed in this society. We hope that will change with this film.”

The film is said to star actor-comedian Livingston, Vaiyapuri, Ammu Abhirami, Prasad, Rama, Janani, Azhar, Mahima, and Sreejith in the lead roles. Dinesh Ravichandran has written and directed the story. While the lyrics for the film are written by Harish Narayan, the cinematography is handled by Santosh Ravichandran, and the editing is done by Hari Shankar. Art direction is done by Gunasekar.

For the unversed, Dinesh Ravichandran is popularly known for his films like Ambuli (2012), Orr Eravuu (2010) and Aaaah (2014).

Meanwhile, Superstar Rajinikanth will soon be seen in the upcoming Indian Tamil-language action drama, Vettaiyan. The upcoming film is directed by T. J. Gnanavel and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah’s Lyca Productions. Apart from Rajinikanth in the titular role, the film has an ensemble cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan (in his Tamil debut), Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and Abhirami.

The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography handled by S. R. Kathir, and editing by Philomin Raj.

Vettaiyan is scheduled to be released worldwide on October 10, 2024, in theatres, coinciding with Vijayadashami.
