Bigg Boss Kannada fame Niveditha Gowda and rap star Chandan Shetty announced divorce after four years of marriage. However, a lot of things are being speculated about the reason behind the divorce.
Taking to her official Instagram handle, Niveditha Gowda shared the news of her divorce from musician Chandan Shetty. According to the statement, they have decided to part ways “mutually”. However, now the internet it curious to know why the two decided to head for divorce.
As per reports, one of the reasons for the divorce is being said to be Niveditha’s desire to go abroad. It is further reported that this is what Chandan has told his friends. According to reports, their divorce was filed under Section 13B, on Thursday. Furthermore, the two had to appear before the court on Friday.
A video of the two hand in hand, is making rounds on the internet, where the two are seen outside the court. The unusual gesture of affection of the former couple is making the netizens curious. However, Chandan Shetty was quoted as saying, “We have mutually agreed to part ways,” during the divorce proceedings inside the court. One of the other reasons cited by the two for their separation is the difference in career aspirations.
In her Instagram post, Niveditha Gowda wrote, “This day, We, Chandan Shetty and myself have ended our marriage legally on good terms and mutual understanding.” She humbly requested the fans and the media to respect their privacy and decision. She added, “Even though we are going our separate ways, we still care and respect each other.”
Niveditha Gowda and Chandan Shetty met during their time in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5 and ended up falling in love. The two got engaged in 2019, and on February 26, 2020, the two tied the knot.
Niveditha is an influencer, popular for sharing reels and Chandan is a music composer, lyricist as well as a singer.
