Farah Khan and actress Debina Bonnerjee recently opened up about their IVF journeys. They were seen talking about the emotional and physical challenges that came their way. Debina, who has been vocal about her path to motherhood, revealed her struggles with depression during the process.
The conversation happened when Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonerjee hosted Farah Khan for dinner for their food vlog. During the vlog, Debina asked Farah how she managed three kids? On this Farah replied, “Managing one or three kids’ efforts are the same. All three wouldn’t come to me at the same time. So Shirish would help in carrying and taking care of them. I think usually parents of one child feel more hyper, 3 bacchon mein toh abhi chhod do kya karen. Yes, backaches are forever, even today when I get out of the car I feel that sudden pain.”
Debina then asked if any of the kids are mischievous, Farah said, “My kids are very shaant and well behaved. I still think that they might be exchanged in the hospital. They are very quiet, I wanted at least one to be mischievous but they aren’t.”
Farah also revealed that the doctor was same for her and Debina. “Debina and I share the same IVF Doctor. She is really calm and understanding.” Gurmeet shared, “We got confidence because of her, we had given up that it wouldn’t happen only.” Farah and Debina shared how the IVF failures affected hormones. Debina also shared that she suffered from depression due to the IVF attempts.
Debina rose to fame after playing the role of Sita and Lakshmi in the television series Ramayan. Her first television role was in the Tamil television series Mayavi (2005), and she also appeared as Mayuri in Chidiya Ghar and in several reality shows. In 2019, she appeared in Colors TV’s television series Vish: A Poisonous Story.
