Farah Khan attended Bhushan Kumar’s cousin and actor Krishan Kumar’s daughter, Tishaa Kumar’s funeral on Monday. In a video that surfaced on social media, the filmmaker was snapped leaving Kumar’s residence when she got teary-eyed. Farah was seen wiping her tears as she avoided the paparazzi. She was also accompanied by her brother, Sajid Khan.
Besides Farah, Riteish Deshmukh has also attended Tishaa’s last rites. Bhushan Kumar and Divya Khosla Kumar were also spotted by the paparazzi as they arrived to offer their last respects to Krishan’s daughter.

Born on September 6, 2003, Tishaa was the daughter of actor-producer and T-Series co-owner Krishan Kumar and Tanya Singh. She passed away on July 18. Tishaa was 20 years old. A T-Series spokesperson issued a statement confirming the death and said, “Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with an illness. This is difficult time for the family, and we kindly request that family’s privacy is respected.”
Several reports claim that Tishaa was diagnosed with cancer. However, there is no official confirmation of this as of now.
Tishaa was a private person who did not usually make a lot of public appearances. However, one of her last public appearances was in November 2023, when she attended the premiere of the Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal. Back then, she was seen posing for the paparazzi on the red carpet with her father, Krishan Kumar.
Krishan Kumar is an actor and producer who is best known for his role in the 1995 movie Bewafa Sanam. He is also the co-owner of T-Series with his nephew Bhushan Kumar. The two have collectively produced several blockbuster films including Lucky: No Time For Love, Ready, Darling, Airlift and Satyamev Jayate.
The uncle-nephew duo also produced Kartik Aaryan’s blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Released in May 2022, the film also starred Kiara Advani and earned over Rs 250 crore at the Indian box office. Besides this, Krishan and Bhushan also co-produced Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, which was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
