Just after attending an award show, the actress shared a glimpse of her first chemotherapy session, showcasing her bravery. Embracing her journey, Hina has also chosen to cut her hair and continues to inspire her followers with her steadfast determination through heartfelt social media updates.
On Saturday, Hina took to her Instagram handle to share a bunch of selfies of herself,
sporting a Pink top. Adding Kishore Kumar’s ‘Ruk Jaana Nahin’ song, the actress penned an empowering caption. It read, “What do you see in this Picture? The Scars on my body or the Hope in my Eyes? The scars are mine , I embrace them with love because they’re the first sign of the Progress I deserve. The Hope in my Eyes is the reflection of my Soul, I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am manifesting my healing. Hina Khan, known for her iconic role as Akshara in TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, recently revealed that she has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. In a post, she opened up about her diagnosis and reassured her fans sharing her ongoing treatment journey. Since her announcement, the actress has been receiving an outpouring of support from her friends and fans.
Hina had also shared a video on her Instagram attending an award function. In the caption, she mentioned that despite her diagnosis, she made a “conscious choice to normalise” her presence. She further mentioned that she received an award at the function and went straight to hospital for her first chemotherapy session.
Recently, Hina posted another emotional video where she bravely goes for a short haircut as part of her chemotherapy treatment. Despite her mother’s emotional reaction, Hina comforts her and tells her how she had gotten her hair cut in the past. She urged her to stay calm.
With the assistance of her hairdresser friend, Hina takes charge and cuts the first strand of her long tresses herself. The hairdresser then styles her hair into a chic, short look. Though visibly emotional, Hina maintains her composure. After the cut, she remarks, “It’s nice, and I feel liberated.”
