Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh are coming together again for a song Chal Kudiye in Jigra. The actress has already dropped a teaser video which has been going viral. Fans just can’t keep calm and their excitement level increased more when behind-the-scenes photos were shared. Jigra is slated to release on October 11.
Taking to the Instagram handle, Diljit Dosanjh’s team shared photos and wrote, “@diljitdosanjh X @aliaabhatt”. In the photos, both are seen posing with background dancers. One of the fans wrote, “Can’t wait for the release! Does the ever sleep?” Another wrote, “Epic pair.” Recently, Alia Bhatt shared a photo in which we can see Diljit Dosanjh sitting on a chair that reads, “sings about kudi’. And in the next chair, Alia is sitting which reads, “The said ‘kudi’. Diljit Dosanjh and Alia Bhatt first collaborated for the song ‘Ik Kudi’ from the film Udta Punjab. It was a huge hit and fans loved it.

Coming to Jigra, recently, the teaser was released and everyone was in awe of her performance. The video opens with Alia Bhatt having a drink in a hotel and talking about her brother. She says that there is very little time and she has to do a lot. As the video proceeds, we see that Vedang Raina is arrested and Alia is trying to release him. She is brave as she faces goons and even fights with them. The video also gives us a glimpse of their old memories. It will be really interesting to see her doing all the action scenes. The teaser was shared by Karan Johar on his social handle.
Last year, Alia Bhatt talked about Jigra and opened up about its plot. She had revealed that the film is a story of ‘courage, passion and determination’. “Just a little over a year later, we are ready to launch our second production – Jigra, a beautiful story of courage, passion and determination. I hope to consistently support compelling narratives that are authentic, and enduringly timeless and work with brilliant creative minds to bring them alive,” Alia added.
On the work front, Diljit Dosanjh will be next seen in Border 2. Sunny Deol dropped a special video on Instagram to announce Diljit’s casting. Sunny wrote, “Welcoming Fauji @diljitdosanjh to the Battalion of #Border2 .” Sunny also dropped a video highlighting the bravery and valour of soldiers to announce that Diljit will also play a soldier in the film.
