Kajol Says 'I Didn't Wake Up This Way' In Latest Photo And We Can Totally Relate

Kajol never shies away from sharing candid glimpses of her life and behind-the-scenes of herself getting ready for events and promotions. Be it moments with her family or hilarious candids from her travel diaries, she keeps her fans updated on a regular basis. Once again, on Sunday, she took to social media to share yet another photo of herself getting her makeup done. In her latest post on Instagram, we see her seated in a chair while her makeup artist, Mickey Contractor, seems busy doing her eye makeup. The actress, who turns 50 today, is wearing a mint green shirt, black pants and a smartwatch. She is also holding a mirror in her hand and looking at herself.

“Unfortunately, I didn’t wake up this way,” Kajol wrote in her caption.

Fans of the actor were quick to send her well wishes and praise her in the comments section of the post. “Happy 50th birthday,” read a comment. “You are gorgeous any time of the day,” wrote her makeup man Mickey Contractor.

“I smell a birthday cake in making,” said a user while another one commented, “It’s always the best thing in the morning when I wake up and Kajol posts.”

Previously, Kajol had also shared a small video clip from one of her makeup sessions which had grabbed the viewers’ attention for a special reason. In this one, she was seen using her makeup time to knit. The video showed Kajol getting her makeup done while being engaged in knitting, with her eyes closed.

Kajol surely loves creating handmade things and she has proved it earlier too. Last year, the actress shared a similar video of herself seated to get her makeup done while knitting.

On her work front, Kajol was last seen in the series titled The Good Wife on Disney+ Hotstar. Directed by Supan Verma, it is an Indian adaptation of the American courtroom drama of the same name. Apart from Kajol, the series also had Jisshu Sengupta, Kubbra Sait and Sheeba Chaddha in key roles.
