Kapil Sharma Teases Vedang Raina About Rumoured GF Khushi Kapoor On His Show: 'Sabse Zyada Khushi Aapko...'

Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina have been rumoured to be dating since they starred together in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. While the duo have neither confirmed nor denied these speculations, they are often spotted together on holidays and special occasions. Amid these speculations, Kapil Sharma and Karan Johar teased Vedang about Khushi.

Vedang Raina, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show to promote their upcoming film, Jigra. During one segment, Kapil asked Vedang, “Kya aapko is baat ki khushi hai ke aap Alia ke saath kaam kar rahe hai? Ya aapko dukh hai ke kaam toh kar raha hu, lekin bhai bana hu (Are you happy working with Alia or are you sad that you’re playing her brother?)” Vedang replied, “Nai, Khushi hai obviously (I am happy).”

Karan quipped, “Khushi hai!” (He is happy!). Kapil added, “Sabse jyaada ‘Khushi’ aapko kahan milti hai?” (Where do you find the most ‘happiness’?) This left the audience in splits.

Earlier this year, Khushi Kapoor addressed her dating rumours with Vedang Raina in an interaction with Karan Johar on his chat show Koffee With Karan. When the filmmaker confronted her saying, “Conjecture goes that you are dating Vedang Raina,” she responded with a witty answer. Khushi told him, “You know that scene in Om Shanti Om where there’s a row of people just saying, ‘Om and I were just good friends’?”

However, in August, Vedang said in a chat with GQ that he had kept his dating life on the back burner to focus on his career. Vedang Raina told GQ, “My dating life right now is taking a back seat because I’m focused on my career. I’m clear about my priorities and want to keep these two aspects of my life separate. I’m enjoying where I am, and there’s a lot more I want to achieve. It’s not that dating would necessarily hinder me, but it can become a major part of your life. So I’m choosing to stay mindful of that and concentrate on what’s most important.”

Meanwhile, Vedang Raina will soon be seen in Jigra. The film is directed by Vasan Bala and co-produced by Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt. Alia will also play the lead in the film.
