Days after Karan Wahi faced a horrific incident in Mumbai and was ‘abused’ and chased by a stranger, the actor has now opened up about the same. Karan was speaking to E-Times recently when he shared that he would have “bashed” the stranger but he decided to maintain his calm and rather rushed to the police. However, Karan shared no information regarding the man’s arrest or action being taken against him.
“I have got a lot of messages from the media. I am thankful that you guys are concerned. All I said was that I have informed the cops and I hope the law takes its own way. There is nothing more I can do or say, I don’t want to stoop to the same level as someone else. If this was the 25-year-old me, I would have bashed that guy and I would have been paying for it. But because sense prevailed, I felt that there was no need to fight. I went to the cops, and they have done their job, I hope he is called and everything is enquired and I hope I am not troubled,” he said.
Earlier this week, Karan Wahi took to his Instagram stories to share a shocking incident. The actor claimed that he was harassed by a stranger on the streets of Mumbai. Karan alleged that the man abused, threatened and followed him till the time he decided to stop at a police station.
“The long story short. I took a right cut on the road cause there was a car ahead of me. This guy abused me and said CUT kaise mara and he started ranting ki tere jaise do kaudi ke TV actors bauhat dekhe hai,” Karan Wahi wrote.
“I took his scooter’s key and gave it back and left the scene. Then he chased me till I stopped at a cop station. Abusing me and telling me that he has a connection with the police and he will make sure that I pay,” the Half Love Half Arranged actor added.
Karan Wahi is a popular actor who rose to fame with his stints in Remix and Dill Mill Gayye. He was recently also seen in the web series, Half Love Half Arranged. He is currently gearing up for the release of his next show, Raisinghania Vs Raisinghania.
