Malaika Arora Picks Up Trash From Outside Her Gym But The Internet Is Not Happy

Malaika Arora has been our fashion icon who keeps grabbing eyeballs for the style statements she makes. The Bollywood diva is back in the limelight but this time, it is due to a whole new reason. She was seen picking up trash and cleaning a public space. Impressive, isn’t it?

The incident happened on Tuesday when Malaika was spotted outside her gym in Mumbai. In a video, the actress could be seen in her gym wear — a yellow crop top paired with cycling shorts. Soon, she could be seen picking up some litter thrown outside of what appeared like the main entrance of her gym. She then walked inside and kept the trash aside.

No wonder she won many hearts with her humble gesture. The video was posted on a paparazzo account with a caption that read, “Malaika always spreads a good message with her gestures, whether it’s a fitness of cleaning.”

In no time, social media users swamped the comment section with various reactions. While some praised Malaika’s cleaning effort, most others trolled her heavily.

A user — lauding her — wrote, “Good job Malaika.” Others criticised her and claimed that the actress did it all for the camera. “She knows camera chalu hain,” a person said. Some other individual stated, “It was for camera.”

A person, however, came out in support of Malaika and noted, “Even if she did it for camera.. at least message sent was right thing to do ..if they start doing right even for camera it helps society.”

Speaking on similar lines, another user commented, “Those who are commenting ’footage’ ‘camera chalu hai’ etc… want to ask these people if they keep their country or at least their surroundings clean ???? Because these people only litter on roads and throw packets out of their car windows. I think now videos should be made for these people who do such stuff of throwing garbage on road to make them feel shameful.”

Work-wise, Malaika Arora recently appeared as a judge on the reality show, India’s Best Dancer. She also starred on her son Arhaan Khan’s vodcast Dumb Biryani. The actress will be next seen in the show Star Vs Food alongside Kareena Kapoor, Karan Johar and Pratik Gandhi.
