Fans around the globe are eagerly waiting to witness the reunion of iconic ‘frenemies’ Deadpool & Wolverine in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film. This time, Logan and Wade Wilson are teaming up against a common enemy and together, they’ll explore the multiverse. While the movie is just a week away from release, excitement is sky high, especially among Marvel fans in India. Videos surfacing online capture a large group of fans at a local theater in Hyderabad, where they unveiled the massive cutouts of the beloved superheroes and were seen dancing. Such an atmosphere is only seen during the film releases of Indian cinema’s top stars. This time, Indian fans decided to give a similar honour to Hollywood’s much awaited release.

Starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, the new MCU movie is set to hit Indian theatres on July 26. Advance bookings started last week and the response so far has been incredible. The celebration has already kicked off in Hyderabad, where young fans of the upcoming superhero movie were spotted dancing to the beats of dhol in the streets while carrying posters of Deadpool and Wolverine. The video shared by a Marvel fan club has quickly gone viral and is fuelling more buzz online.

Last week, Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, along with director Shawn Levy, visited Berlin for a promotional event. Interestingly, a few lucky fans had the opportunity to see the first 35 minutes of the MCU film. While no spoilers have leaked online, many viewers are excited and believe the movie could revive MCU in the best possible way.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, MCU fans found recent projects like Thor: Love and Thunder, Wakanda Forever, The Marvels and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania a bit underwhelming. However, with the arrival of Deadpool and Wolverine in the MCU, the movie is expected to shake things up. Fans believe this movie could revive excitement for the Marvels and set stage for the next Avengers film.

Directed by Shawn Levy, Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, Morena Baccarin, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Stefan Kapicic, Brianna Hildebrand, Rob Delaney, Lewis Tan, Aaron Stanford, Kelly Hu, Tyler Mane, Jason Flemyng and Ray Park.
