Vidyarthi Vidyarthiniyare, starring Chandan Shetty, has hit the theatres recently. Despite having a good storyline, the film is struggling to leave its mark at the box office. Director Arun Amukta reportedly expressed his dissatisfaction after the film did not perform well. As per reports, the film recorded a box office collection of 31 lakhs in the first 12 days at the theatres. Chandan Shetty was spotted visiting a temple in the state of Karnataka. He was accompanied by director Chethan Kumar. He is known for the film Bahaddur, which was highly praised by the audiences. Chandan Shetty shared the photo on Instagram. In the picture, the actor was seen visiting the Kukke Shri Subrahmanya Temple, located in the village of Subramanya, Karnataka. He posed along with Chethan Kumar in front of the gate of the temple.
Chandan Shetty wore a white sacred cloth along with navy blue track pants. Chethan Kumar was seen covering his body with a red coloured cloth along with jeans. Both of them smiled, while they clicked the picture. He posted the picture and captioned it, “Kukke Subramanya swami Darshana aaythu [Had a darshan of Lord Subramanya at Kukke Subramanya Temple].” The picture sparked curiosity about the purpose of their temple visit. In a statement to News 18 Kannada, Chethan mentioned that they decided to visit the temple for simple darshan and there is no other special reason behind it.
