Veteran actress Neena Gupta left netizens divided when she made a public appearance on Tuesday afternoon. In a video that surfaced online, the Panchayat star was seen posing for the paparazzi in Mumbai. She sported a red t-shirt with denim shorts and opted for long matching boots. The actress kept her tresses open, sported black goggles and flaunted her smile for the shutterbugs.

However, soon after the video was shared online, several social media users rushed to the comments section and trolled the 65-year-old actress. They age-shamed Neena and questioned her dressing sense. “Neena Gupta khubsurat hai but is time wo bilkul Achchi nahi lag Rahi,” one of the users wrote. “Im sry she is not looking good, not because she wears this but the dressing sense is not good,” added another. “Yah kahan ka dimag hai ki chhote kapde pahnane se young dikhte hain aur pure kapde pahnane se aunty dikhte Hai,” a third comment read.

One of the users also defended Neena and called her an ‘inspiration’. “Wow coming generations should follow such health n beauty formulas… jo mazak udaa rahe h 65 me khud laathi se chalenge tb yad krenge inko kiye comment ,” the person wrote.

This is not the first time that Neena Gupta is getting age-shamed. The actress is often questioned about her fashion choices. In May this year, Neena was also seen posing for the shutterbugs in a short white co-ord set. She accessorised her outfit with gold necklaces and a bold red cross-body bag. However, back then too, the actress was brutally trolled for allegedly “trying to look young”.

Meanwhile, it was recently announced that Neena Gupta will be honoured with the National Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie, Uunchai. The film, which was released in 2022, was directed by Sooraj Barjatya and revolved around three septuagenarian friends who embark on a trek to the Everest Base Camp.
