On this day, back in 2001, she lost her father. Remembering the late actor, Anjali Anand shared a heartwarming post expressing herself.

Sharing an old picture with her father, Anjali Anand wrote, “23 years since you’ve been gone.The day the world celebrates love is the day four women you left behind in this world dread. You were our first love and will always be. We’re going to be just fine because you’ve raised a bunch of Rockstars and our mother is a legend. I never understood people talking to people who have passed through posts, but I guess you’ve gotta do whatever makes you get through the world with a huge piece of your heart missing. I’m going to make you so proud, I promise. I hope you’re smiling wherever you are. Until I see you again, Pa.” The picture shows a young Anjali holding on to her father’s shoulder. Meanwhile, Anjali Anand, who recently starred in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, is all set to appear in Farhan Akhtar’s next Netflix series, Dabba Cartel which is a female-led crime drama. The anticipated series is being produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment. The actress is gearing up to collaborate alongside legendary actress Shabana Azmi and famous actor Gajraj Rao. Reportedly, this will be Anjali and Shabana’s third collaboration, after Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and Bun Tikki.

Anjali Anand started her acting career with several roles in the Indian television industry. She received widespread appreciation for her roles in series such as Dhhai Kilo Prem and Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala. She also participated in several reality TV shows such as season 13 of Khatron Ke Khiladi, a stunt-based show.
