When former NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead last week, Salman Khan left shooting for Bigg Boss 18 midway and rushed to the hospital. The actor was close friends with the political figure. After his death, security has been beefed up for Khan. The actor returned to shoot for Bigg Boss 18. A recent promo video of the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode shows the actor mentioning how he did not want to be on the sets.
In a promo video shared by Colors TV, Salman Khan is seen addressing Shilpa Shirodkar on the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode. Khan addressed the spat between Shirodkar and Avinash Mishra as they fought over food earlier this week. While talking to her and advising her, the actor mentioned how he had to come to the sets despite not wanting to be there. He mentioned that he is on the set because of his professional commitment. Khan said, “Mujhe aaj yahan par aana hi nahi tha. Ek aadmi ko jo karna padta hain, wo karna padta hain. (I didn’t want to be here today. What a man has to do, he has to do)”

The upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode will also show Khan having a confrontation with Rajat Dalal and Arfeen Khan regarding their actions over the week. Following Siddique’s death, Khan’s security has been upgraded. Reports mention that the actor was present on the sets of Bigg Boss 18 with over 60 security personnel who kept a close watch on every movement.
The report also mentioned that the security has been amped up on the sets and no outsiders are allowed without Aadhar Card verification. Along with this, the actor has been working closely with the production team and security. The Bigg Boss 18 team has been directed to stay on location until filming wraps up, with two Weekend Ka Vaar episodes set to air this weekend.
