Salman Khan To REPLACE Allu Arjun In Atlee's Next Pan-India Actioner? What We Know
Talks for a big pan-India action film between Atlee and Allu Arjun reportedly, didn't progress beyond initial discussions.

As per reports, the collaboration between Allu Arjun and Atlee Kumar, that was being planned, has fallen through. Talks for a big pan-India action film between the Telugu star and the Tamil director, known for their hits Pushpa: The Rise and Jawan, didn’t progress beyond initial discussions, as per a report in Peepingmoon.

“They were definitely in talks, but it was at a very primary stage, and the collaboration was never finalized as was being speculated in the media. Atlee is still working on the script and hasn’t locked anyone yet. It would have been great to see both of them teaming up on a massive project, but, as of now, Allu Arjun and Atlee’s film is not happening,” a source close to the filmmaker told the publication.

Rumour mills were abuzz that suggested Atlee’s demand for a whopping Rs 80 crore free caused the fallout, but these were dismissed. The decision reportedly stemmed from differences in their creative visions rather than financial issues. The source said, “Atlee and Allu Arjun share mutual respect, and the project fell through simply because it did not align with each other’s preferences. The film has no production timeline fixed yet, but it’s expected to get off the ground in the first quarter of next year — depending on the lead actor’s availability. Atlee has now approached Salman Khan for this film, but the discussions with him are also at the very initial stage at this moment.”

Meanwhile, expanding his horizons in Bollywood, Atlee is now venturing into a partnership with Varun Dhawan. He serves as the producer for Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film Baby John, a remake of Atlee’s own Tamil blockbuster Theri. Furthermore, recent reports suggest a potential collaboration between Atlee and Salman Khan.

Back in February, there were reports that indicated that Salman Khan had reached out to Atlee to direct Dabangg 4, impressed by Atlee’s direction in Jawan.
