Srikanth Box Office Collection: Rajkumar Rao-starrer Crosses Rs 30 Crore In 2 Weeks

Rajkummar Rao-starrer Srikanth is currently running in theatres. The biographical film on the life of Srikanth Bolla, founder of Bollant Industries and visually impaired industrialist, was directed by Tushar Hiranandani. Apart from Rajkummar Rao, Jyothika, Alaya F and Sharad Klkar played prominent roles in the film. The film was made on a budget of Rs 40 crore and in the coming weeks, it is expected that worldwide collection will start earning profits for the makers. The film opened with Rs 2.25 crore and collected Rs 9 crore in the weekend. The film has completed its two weeks in theatres. It is currently standing on the brink of achieving the Rs 40 crore mark at the box office.

Srikanth did a business of 17.85 crore in the first week worldwide. After this, the film earned 1.5 crore on the 8th day, 2.75 crore on the 9th day, 4 crore on the 10th day, 1.5 crore on the 11th day, 1.25 crore on the 12th day and 1.2 crore on the 13th day. Now, the week two collections have been recorded. According to the report by Sacnilk, Rajkummar Rao’s film Srikanth collected Rs 1.4 crore in India on the second Thursday. Thus, the total earnings of the film across the country have reached 31.45 crore. The overseas collection of the film is Rs 2.50.

The film revolves around the story of an Indian entrepreneur who gained prominence as the founder of Bollant Industries. The company provides employment opportunities for unskilled and differently-abled people to create eco-friendly products. The film explores the struggle faced by Srikanth Bolla in his childhood. It highlights the will of Srikanth Bolla to achieve heights in education and other sectors after being rejected for his blindness.
