One of the most awaited films this season, 'Fan' is all set for its release this Friday. Starring Shah Rukh Khan in a never seen before avatar, this Maneesh Sharma directorial looks promising from its trailer. Although, Shah Rukh Khan stated in many interviews that he doesn't think 'Fan' to be a big scale film, the enthusiasm and promotions tell a different tale. Produced by Bollywood's biggest production house 'Yash Raj Films' and starring one of India's biggest superstar, 'Fan' is everything the Indian box office has been waiting for from the beginning of 2016.
Cashing on the popularity and hypothetical success of the film, many upcoming blockbusters have lined up their teaser and trailer releases around 'Fan'. While the teaser of another big film of 2016, 'Sultan' starring Salman Khan will release on April 14, Phantom films 'Udta Punjab' will release its trailer on April 16.
Salman Khan's 'Sultan', is also a biggie from the YRF camp and the production house will ofcourse club its trailer with 'Fan'. Another big film all set to release its trailer on April 14 is Omung Kumar's much anticipated film 'Sarbjit'. Starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadha in lead roles, the film 's posters have generated much required buzz among the fans.
While we will see a Salman Khan-Aishwarya Rai face off on April 14, Phantom productions decision to release its trailer on April 16 looks like a smart move. With no other film posing threat and 'Fan' popularity at its peak, this Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Diljit Dosanjh, Kareena Kapoor starrer will find its way on social media successfully.
Another, less-hyped, more on content film 'Sachin' will also release it's trailer on April 14. 'Sachin' is a documentary about the life of the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.
So get ready for this weekend because it's just not Shah Rukh Khan you'll be waiting for, but a whole lot of big films trying to make their first impression last in your minds!
