Once again, she stepped up to support hurricane relief efforts in Florida, earning widespread praise online for her generous contributions.
According to reports, Taylor Swift donated $5 million (approximately Rs 41 crore) to hurricane relief efforts in Florida to aid the state’s recovery after Hurricane Helene. The generous contribution was made to Feeding America, a non-profit organization dedicated to combating hunger, which has been actively involved in relief initiatives in the areas affected by the hurricane.
Although Swift made no announcement regarding her donations, however, the NGO thanked the singer in an X (formerly Twitter) post. They shared a picture message revealing the same. The note on the picture message read, “We are incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift for her generous $5 million donation to Hurricane Helene and Milton efforts.”
Feeding America further added, “This contribution will help communities rebuild and recover, [provide] essential food, clean water, and supplies to people affected by these devastating storms.” Expressing gratitude to the singer, the NGO even urged others to come forward and help the people in need. It concluded by saying, “Thank you, Taylor, for standing with us in the movement to end hunger and for helping communities in need.”
