Kanna actor Karthik Jayaram is set to appear on the big screens in a new avatar. His upcoming film The Veer’s first look motion poster was released recently. The poster was released on the occasion of Karthik Jayaram’s birthday on May 1, making the release even more memorable for him. The film has been written and directed by R Lohith Naik. In the clip, he was seen dressed up as a bartender; he was performing various bartending tricks and stunts in a pub. Karthik Jayaram was wearing earrings and even had a tattoo on his hand. As soon as the post went viral, fans were eager to know more about his new role.
Karthik Jayaram will be seen playing the lead role in The Veer. In an interview, he spoke about this and other details of the film. Karthik Jayaram said, “In the film, I am playing the role of a person who works in a pub. From the first look motion poster you may think that I am playing a negative role but I can say that I am playing a positive role and not a Villain’s role. You will come to know as the movie hits the theatres. This is a suspense thriller and I hope everyone will love it."
Speaking about the film’s main theme, he said: “The Veer delves into various illegal activities that happen during the night, most of which never come out in front of the public. There is a good message in the film," as per a report by Times Now.
Karthik recently posted the first look poster on his Instagram handle, captioning it: “The first look of The Veer motion Poster Please do watch and share with love! Love you all."
Karthik Jayaram has earlier worked on several other projects in the Kannada industry which include Siya Ke Ram, Maaligai, IRavan, Alibaba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, and Bangalore 560023. His other upcoming works include Chaari 36, and Kaada.
