On Tuesday, the makers took to X announcing the film has received a U/A Certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), meaning the film is unrestricted to the public but requires parental guidance for children under 12 years.

Vettaiyan marks the on-screen collaboration of Rajinikanth and Amitabh after 32 long years. The duo last appeared together in director Mukul Anand’s film Hum, with Govinda, Kimi Katkar, Danny Denzongpa, Anupam Kher and Kader Khan in pivotal roles. The film will release on October 10.
