Vicky Kaushal Super Excited Ahead Of Hosting IIFA 2024 Alongside Shah Rukh Khan And We Get It

Set to host the cinematic extravaganza IIFA 2024 alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal left for Abu Dhabi on September 26. The actor was clicked at the Mumbai airport where he also posed for the paparazzi before jetting off. Amid the huge anticipation about the prestigious event scheduled to commence today, a new video has emerged online wherein Vicky has expressed his excitement to host the award night.

Vicky Kaushal was speaking to Instant Bollywood when he reflected on his excitement to not only attend IIFA 2024 but host it alongside acting and filmmaking stalwarts like Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. Speaking about the same, the actor said, “it’s always a pleasure to be at IIFA. We receive a lot from the people here. I am very excited for the show.” When asked about what makes the event more special this year, Vicky excitedly said, “I am getting the opportunity to host with Shah Rukh Khan. He is the king, he is badshah. It’s always a learning experience to work with him. I am really looking forward to it.”

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2024 has rolled out the red carpet for Indian celebrities for its three-day-long celebration of the cinema, set to kick off on September 27 at Yas Island. The star-studded ceremony, with the lined-up performances of Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, veteran actress Rekha and others, promises to celebrate the best films and talents of Hindi and South Indian cinema.

Videos of several Indian celebrities from both Bollywood and South Indian film industry arriving to attend the big event are being spread like wildfire on the Internet. While Shah Rukh Khan already started his rehearsals for the big event, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with her daughter Aaradhya and Ananya Panday were clicked arriving in Abu Dhabi. Reports suggest that Rekha will be delivering a 22-minute performance on the IIFA stage. The actress was pictured in an all-denim look while making her way to the hotel in the city.

SRK, when asked how excited he is for IIFA this year, said, “Wonderful as always. Loving Abu Dhabi, loving Andre Timmins…” When asked what the audience can expect for the awards nights this time around, he said, “Batata hoon, pura programme batata hoon (I’ll tell you the whole programme, come…).”

IIFA 2024 will conclude on September 29 with IIFA Rocks, an event celebrating the Indian music industry.
