Vijay Deverakonda is winning hearts online after videos of him attending his bodyguard Ravi’s wedding reception in Hyderabad have gone viral online. While Vijay Deverakonda’s parents, Govardhan Rao and Madhavi, attended the wedding, the actor graced the reception.
Viral videos show Vijay entering the venue in a blue shirt and a beanie. The videos also showed Ravi and his family getting excited as Vijay became a part of their celebrations. Vijay was welcomed with a shawl and a sword. Watch one of the viral videos here:

Meanwhile, Vijay was recently seen in Family Star with Mrunal Thakur. The film is directed and written by Parasuram Petla and produced by Dil Raju. Vijay teamed up with Parasuram again for his second film after the hit 2018 movie Geetha Govindam. This film follows the story of Govardhan Rao, a young man from a middle-class family who takes care of his household. Everything changes when a woman named Indu becomes his tenant.
The film also featured Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi and Ravi Babu in key roles. Vijay’s rumoured girlfriend, actress Rashmika Mandanna, also had a special appearance in the film.
The film didn’t perform too well at the box office. Earlier this month, the makers of Family Star said that a police complaint has been filed against those who are writing “negative posts” about the Vijay Deverakonda starrer on social media. The complaint has been filed with the cybercrime police, in Hyderabad by Vijay’s personal manager Anurag Parvataneni. Starring Vijay and Mrunal Thakur, Family Star hit the theatres on April 5. The movie has been widely panned by critics and has received a mixed response from the audience.
Vijay Deverakonda will next be seen in Gowtam Tinnanuri. The shooting of the film is currently underway.
