After the massive success of his supernatural horror comedy Stree 2, Rajkummar Rao is now gearing up for the release of his “97% parivarik’ and ‘3% maha parivarik” film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The actor, along with his co-star, Triptii Dimri, isn’t leaving any stone unturned to promote their film, which will be locking horns with Alia Bhatt’s Jigra on October 11.
On Monday, Rajkummar released a video of him playing “Woh wala game” with his first-time co-star, Triptii. In the collaborative post, the Stree 2 actor is seen sitting on a chair and doing something on his phone when the actress walks in. She challenges him to an arm wrestling game, who then puts some cash, seemingly as a bet money, on the table. In a hilarious turn of events, as Rajkummar gets ready for the wrestling, Triptii takes all the cash and goes away.
A shocked Vicky tries to comprehend what has just happened. Sharing the reel with Daler Mehandi’s popular song Na Na Na Re as the background music, Rajkummar wrote, “Vicky Vidya ka Woh Wala Game. #VickyVidyaKaWohWalaVideo Releasing in Cinemas on 11th October.” For the video, both actors opted for a retro look.
Rajkummar’s fans soon flooded the comment section of the post with their responses to the video. One fan wrote, “Both actors are amazing gems for the industry; I can’t wait to see them on screen.” Another said, “First Bittu took the money, and now Vidya…..#Bicky #Vicky.” A third one wrote, “Moye Moye ho gya Vicky bhaiya ji.”
A while back, Rajkummar also shared a post on his Instagram, offering a glimpse of some behind-the-scenes footage from Raaj Shandilyaa’s directed Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The first slide of the carousel featured the actor making some quirky expressions. The next was a selfie of the actor in a T-shirt. Sharing the post, the Stree 2 actor wrote, “Vicky ka shoot wala Video.”
Meanwhile, just days back, Srikanth dropped a video that featured a hilarious link to the Amar Kaushik-directed horror comedy Stree 2. In the video, Rajkummar and Triptii were walking in a graveyard when suddenly a shadow passed by. The duo get very scared, and Rajkummar asks Triptii, “Muhn saamne rakh ke chala karo.” The actor shared the video with the caption, “Aisi bhayanak situation mein Vicky toh kya Bicky bhi darr jata!”
Rajkummar has had a series of releases this year, starting with Srikanth and followed by Mr & Mrs Mahi and Stree 2. Now, he is gearing up for the release of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Meanwhile, Triptii was last seen in Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk’s starrer Bad Newz.
