Kannada star Yash rocked the entire nation with his KGF films and became the next big pan-India star. His newfound pan-India fans were expecting to see more of him post KGF but it took the actor two years to start shooting for his next film titled Toxic. Toxic is directed by Geethu Mohandas and shooting for the film began in April. While many new updates about Yash’s latest film are coming to the fore, one interesting piece of news is the possibility of Sunil Kumar of Stree 2: Sarkate ka Aatank fame being considered for a role in the film.
Sunil Kumar recently wowed audiences, playing the antagonist, the fearsome headless ghost Sarkata in Stree 2: Sarkate ka Aatank. The actor, a known name in his native Jammu and Kashmir, received widespread acclaim and the film turned out to be one of the biggest money spinners of the year. Sunil Kumar’s exceptional height of 7’8” has earned him the sobriquet The Great Khali of Jammu. The similarity does not end here. Like the Great Khali did, Sunil Kumar also serves in the police department.
Sunil Kumar has recently said in an interview that he is in talks with the makers of Toxic for an integral role in the film. However, the casting has not yet been locked and official confirmation of his involvement is still awaited. Did you know that if Sunil Kumar bags the role in Toxic, it will be his second Kannada film? He has already done a Kannada film before this. Director Chandramohan’s Forest is the film the actor has already acted in. The upcoming film stars Chikkanna, Anish Tejeshwar, Gurunandan, and Rangayana Raghu in the lead. Sunil Kumar’s scenes were shot in about 7 days. The filmmakers have not yet announced the release date. Further official details about the film are still awaited.
