Amitabh Bachchan Expresses ‘Aabhaar’ As He Tops The List Of Actors With ‘Most Footfalls In India'
Amitabh Bachchan was quite overwhelmed on seeing a list made by a user that mentions that 21 of his films had over 2.5 crore footfall.

In an era where the audience has shifted their focus to OTT content, some Bollywood actors and their charismatic presence on screen are instrumental in getting crores of people to the theatres. Recently, a social media user accessed that Bollywood actors have enjoyed over 2.5 crore upon the release of their titles, and superstar Amitabh Bachchan tops the list. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan holds the third spot after the success of Jawan. Amitabh Bachchan was quite overwhelmed upon seeing the list and replied to the user, expressing his gratitude.

The X user, Kamal, posted a list titled, “Most 2.5cr footfalls in India since 1960.” The list includes some of the famous actors who have been active since 1960 and in the present times. The list starts with Amitabh Bachchan and ends with the legendary Rajendra Kumar. The List goes as follows, “21 — AB 14 — Dharam 9 — SRK (including Jawan) 9 — Salman 9 — Jeetendra 8 — Rajesh Khanna 7 — Manoj Kumar 7 — Rishi Kapoor 6 — Aamir 6 — Rajnikant 6 — Sunny Deol 6 — Vinodh Khanna 6 – DK 5 — Rajendra Kumar.”

Amitabh Bachchan took notice of this list and replied, “aabhaar,” with a folded hands emoji. Even many of his fans were happy to see him top the list. One of them wrote, “You are a truly star of millennium, sir. You instilled self-confidence in youth. “Fenke huey paisey main aaj bhi nahi uthata” has been a sense of pride moment. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is currently busy hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati 15. In one of the recent episodes, the megastar expressed his feelings as he got his first film. Amitabh Bachchan said, “I felt that whatever I earn from this job, I will give it to my parents. I found a way to earn and have my parents shift with me. The responsibilities that they had taken all these years, I wanted them to shift on my shoulders.”

Amitabh Bachchan entered the industry as a voice narrator in Mrinal Sen’s film Bhuvan Shome in 1969. His first acting stint, however, was as one of seven protagonists in the film ‘Saat Hindustani,’ directed by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently filming Nag Ashwin’s ‘Project K’. Prabhas and Deepika Padukone also play lead roles in the film. He has also been working on Ribhu Dasgupta’s Section 84, which also stars Diana Penty, Abhishek Banerjee, and Nimrat Kaur.
