As the wife of the superstar Shah Rukh Khan and a loving mother to her children Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, and Abram, Gauri Khan has demonstrated her prowess in the industry. Gauri Khan: Early Life and Family
Born on October 8, Gauri Khan was raised by Punjabi Hindu parents. She did her schooling in Delhi and further completed her graduation from Lady Shri Ram College where she received her BA with honours in History. Apart from that, she also completed a 6-month fashion degree course from the National Institute of Fashion Technology.

It was during her days in Delhi when Gauri met with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time. Their first meeting took place at a common party when Gauri Khan was just 14 and Shah Rukh was 18 years old. As two young teenagers, they started dating and their romance bloomed.
However, Gauri’s parents didn’t approve of their relationship. Later, at a point, Gauri left for Mumbai with her friends without informing Shah Rukh Khan, leaving him quite terrified. Scared of losing, SRK followed her to Mumbai and won back his love.
After overcoming several hurdles, the couple finally got married on October 25, 1991. It was way before Shah Rukh Khan started his career in Bollywood. They welcomed their firstborn, son Aryan Khan in 1997 and their daughter Suhana Khan in 2000. It was in 2013 when they became parents to a third child, son Abram through surrogacy.
Gauri Khan: Career
Gauri Khan began her career by establishing the production and distribution company Red Chillies Entertainment in 2002 with her husband-actor. Presently, she serves as the co-owner and the main producer of the films produced in the banner.
Under the production house, she has produced some major hit movies like Om Shanti Om, Main Hoon Na, Student of the Year, Happy New Year, Dear Zindagi, and many others.
Besides that, as Gauri also studied interior design, she started by renovating their Bandra residence, Mannat which has now become a tourist spot and heritage building for fans from across the country.
She later professionally ventured into interior designing and partnered with close friend Sussanne Khan to proceed with her plans.
In 2011, the two launched the Charcoal Project Foundation, following which in 2017, Gauri Khan launched her own design studio, Gauri Khan Designs in Mumbai.
