Kiku Sharda is popular for playing various funny characters on The Kapil Sharma Show. The actor recently appeared on the chat show Long Drive With Mr Faisu. While interacting with the host Faisal Shaikh, Kiku shared a lot of things about himself — from his full name to how he entered the entertainment industry. Kiku Sharda said that he was initially hesitant about joining TV, as nobody from his family had ever done so. His friend and the TV show Hatim’s producer Shakti Anand insisted that he take up the role of Hobo in the serial, and that is how his journey began.
Post Hatim, Kiku got back-to-back projects. Kiku also shared that he got the call from Kapil Sharma’s show makers after it was already on air for three months. He was informed that Sunil Grover was going to play Gutthi on the show and as he is tall and slim, Kiku would look good together and that is how Kiku’s character Palak was created.
In a fun segment of the show named Rumour Ghoomer, Kiku Sharda also addressed some of the speculations about him. During that segment, Faisal asked if he earns the highest among all the other actors on The Kapil Sharma Show, to which Kiku replied “No comments,” with a mischievous laugh. Faisal laughed at this answer and said that it could be possible.
Kiku Sharda also revealed that he is indeed an MBA graduate. The next rumour about him was that he was going on a strict diet for his next film, to which Kiku Sharda laughed and added that he would not do that for any of his projects.

There were earlier reports that Kiku Sharda takes home between Rs 5 to Rs 6 lakh per episode. Raghavendra Amarnath Sharda aka Kiku Sharda is also known for his acting stint in The Great Indian Comedy Show, Vicky and Vetaal, Comedy Circus. Kiku Sharda also worked on films which include Angrezi Medium, Thank God, No Problem, Race and Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan.
He will be seen next in the new show with Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover, which was announced by Netflix on Saturday.
