Following the film’s phenomenal opening, Atlee has now expressed his gratitude to fans.
Amidst the frenzy, Shah Rukh Khan took to X (formerly Twitter) and thanked his fans for all the love for Jawan. He wrote, “Wow have to take time out and thank each and every Fan Club and all of you who have gone so happily in the theatres and even outside. According to a report in Sacnilk.com, Jawan has already earned Rs 35.6 crores at the box office in India, thanks to the phenomenal advance booking. It released in about 10,000 screens, making it one of the widest releases ever for an Indian movie. Meanwhile, Jawan also features Deepika Padukone in a special appearance. The film’s first show kicked off at 6 am today amid massive celebrations.
Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is written and directed by Atlee. Besides Shah Rukh Khan, it also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and Riddhi Dogra in key roles.
