The 8th season of Koffee With Karan is drawing to a close, and for its finale, host Karan Johar is set to bring together some of the internet’s favourites. The upcoming episode will feature social media influencers and content creators, including Kusha Kapila, Tanmay Bhatt, Danish Saint, Sumukhi Suresh, and Orry (Orhan Awatramani). The finale promises to be entertaining, with these digital personalities sharing their insights and opinions on the season. The promo for the finale episode, set to be released on Thursday, is already out.
Orry, who has consistently been in the spotlight of every Bollywood party, is set to make his debut on the Koffee couch in the upcoming episode. According to the promos, Orry is expected to share intriguing revelations during his chat with Karan Johar. One of the surprising disclosures is that Orry has doppelgangers who stand in for him at various events and parties. Additionally, he disclosed that his moments of downfall and subsequent comebacks are meticulously planned by a “team of minions” who impersonate him.
Discussing the presence of his lookalikes who make it possible for him to be present at different locations, Orry told Karan, “I do have lookalikes to sometimes hold fire until I arrive. So there is an Orry lookalike who will be at the event until I actually get from Nariman Point to BKC and then from BKC to Bandra to some movie premiere. We all wear the same outfit and the same look, and they just won’t talk. The minute they talk it goes away.”
“I have three silent doppelgangers. They have to be sent out to hold base until I arrive. They pose and dress like me but they don’t talk,” he added.
Karan further inquired, “So you have silent doppelgangers, they get clicked and then you come to replace them when they need to open their mouth.” In response, Orry agreed to it. Orry also shared that he is “dating five people simultaneously.”
During the show, Orry also took the opportunity to reveal his favourite episodes. He mentioned watching the Rani Mukerji and Kajol episode 100 times. Additionally, he mentioned enjoying the opening episode of the season, which featured the dynamic duo of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
Who is Orry?
Orry has become the go-to best friend for many star kids and has selfies with the bigwigs of Bollywood. As per details from Cosmopolitan India and Orry’s LinkedIn account, he pursued his education at a boarding school in Dhanushkodi, Tamil Nadu. Later, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Communication Design from the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York. However, Orry still maintains a level of mystery surrounding his profession.
