Priyanka Chopra got emotional after she couldn’t attend cousin Parineeti Chopra’s wedding with Raghav Chadha in Udaipur. Priyanka was among the first celebrities who commented on Parineeti and Raghav’s first photos as newlyweds. The Quantico star, who is currently in the US, dropped a teary-eyed emoji on the wedding photos of the couple.
Parineeti and Raghav took to their Instagram accounts and shared a series of stunning snaps from their D-Day. Posting the photos, they wrote: “From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time… So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs! Couldn’t have lived without each other… Our forever begins now!” Priyanka was quick to like the post and drop an emotional comment. “My blessings always,” wrote Priyanka alongside a red heart, a teary-eyed, a fire and a heart-eyed emoji.
Meanwhile, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra revealed that Priyanka couldn’t attend the wedding due to work. The actress’ mother was spotted at the Udaipur airport on Monday morning and the paparazzi couldn’t help but ask about Priyanka’s absence. “Kaam kar rahe hai (She is busy working),” Madhu told the paparazzi. She also revealed that she had a ball at the wedding. When asked about Parineeti’s wedding look, Madhu said, “Waise hi khoobsurat hai, aur bhi achi lag rahi thi (She’s anyway so beautiful, she looked even prettier at the wedding).”
Parineeti and Raghav had an intimate wedding ceremony in Udaipur on Sunday evening. The couple, who has known each other for a while now, exchanged their vows in the presence of their families and close friends.
