Shah Rukh Khan Reveals Whether Dunki Will Have A Romantic Song, Says 'Main Hoon Aur Romance...'

After delivering two massive blockbusters, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to entertain his fans for the third time this year with his upcoming movie Dunki. While everyone is eagerly waiting for the film, the makers have finally dropped the trailer, leaving all even more excited. As we inch closer to the release date, Shah Rukh Khan has returned with his #AskSRK session, an occurrence which started right before the release of Pathaan and continues to this day. Taking questions about Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan in his latest Ask SRK revealed whether his film will have a romantic number.

A user asked King Khan on X(formerly Twitter), “Sir koi rmantic song aayega movie se ?? #Dunkitrailer #AskSrk #Dunki.” To this, Shah Rukh Khan replied promptly, “Of course aayega. Main hoon aur Romance na ho. Yeh toh wohi baat ho gayi ki Dil hai aur dhadkan na ho!!! #DunkiTrailer.”

The Dunki trailer offers a peek into the endearing world of Rajkumar Hirani. Opening with SRK onboard a train, setting the tone for the adventure that lies ahead. The video unit introduces the wonderfully whimsical characters starting with Hardy, played by SRK, who enters a picturesque village in Punjab and encounters a group of spirited friends – Manu, Sukhi, Buggu, and Balli, all sharing a common dream of travelling to London in pursuit of better opportunities and a better life for their loved ones back home.

Encapsulating all the myriad emotions in one frame, this heart-warming tale follows four friends on an extraordinary journey to foreign lands, filled with challenges and life-changing experiences.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki also stars Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover, besides Shah Rukh Khan. The film marks the first collaboration between superstar Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. Two songs from the film have already been released and are being widely loved by the audience. While Lutt Putt Gaya was released on November 22, Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se was out more recently on December 1.

Dunki is schedule to hit theatres on December 22. This means that the film will clash at the box office with Prabhas’ Salaar.

It was recently revealed that more than 1,50,000 fans, registered with King Khan’s fan club, SRK Universe, are uniting to watch the film on its opening day in India. The fan club shared their extensive plans for Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki on social media. A source cited by Bollywood Hungama also claimed that SRK Universe alone is put together 1000 shows worldwide, with over 600 scheduled in India. Besides SRK Universe, SRK has two other major fan clubs – SRK Warriors and King SRK FC – organising first-day fan shows across the country.
