Sunny Deol's Son Rajveer Reveals He Gets 'Very Angry' When People Say Actors Have 'Easy Life'
Rajveer Deol talked about witnessing his father Sunny Deol's struggles and shared that the Gadar 2 actor worked very hard in last 22 years.

Sunny Deol’s younger son Rajveer Deol is gearing up for his acting debut with ‘Dono’. Days ahead of the film’s release, Rajveer talked about witnessing his father’s struggles and shared that the Gadar 2 actor worked very hard in the last 22 years. Rajveer revealed that he feels very angry when people say that an actor’s life is easy because he has seen his father compromising and sacrificing for 22 years to be where he is today.

“For 22 years, I’ve seen him struggle and work. There were no days off. When people come up to me and say that an actor’s life is very easy, they just travel around… They must’ve seen other actors and felt that. I just get very angry, because I’ve seen how much my dad works, and how much family time he sacrifices to go out there and do something. So, to see him finally land a hit with Gadar 2, he deserves it. I don’t know how to describe that joyful feeling, I couldn’t believe it,” the Dono actor told Siddharth Kannan in a recent interview.

Rajveer further shared that the entire Deol family was pinching itself when Gadar 2 was released in August this year and smashed the box office. The Anil Sharma directorial, which also starred Ameesha Patel in the lead, made a domestic box office collection of over Rs 520 crore.

Talking about Rajveer’s debut movie Dono, it is a coming-of-age love story backed by Rajshri Productions. The film not only marks Rajveer’s acting debut but is also Poonam Dhillon’s daughter Paloma’s first film. It also marks the directorial debut of Sooraj R Barjatya’s son Avnish S Barjatya.

In an earlier interview with News18 Showsha, Rajveer mentioned that he is happy about not being launched by his own family and said, “I was prepping up so there was no discussion that my family was going to launch me. After Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass was released, I saw him going through his (Karan) all-time low. So my biggest challenge is having a fear of not earning it on your own and making it on your own. So when Dono happened, I am glad that they asked me to audition as I don’t want to feel that I am not worth it.”

Dono will hit theatres on October 5.
