Vicky Kaushal was mobbed as he visited the popular Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. On late Wednesday night, a video of the Zara Hatke Zara Bachke actor surfaced on social media in which he was seen stuck between the crowd as he arrived at Lalbaug. The video showed Vicky surrounded by people as police personnel also try to help him. However, maintaining his calm, Vicky can also be seen interacting with fans in the viral video.
Several social media users reacted to the clip and called it ‘madness’. Some argued that the video is a proof of Vicky Kaushal’s massive fan following. Watch the shocking video here:
Vicky Kaushal is not the first actor to hve visited Lalbaug on Ganesh Chaturthi this year. Just yesterday, Varun Dhawan visited the sacred place and sought blessings from Bappa. He took to his Instagram handle and dropped a couple of photos in which he was seen praying at the Lalbaug. One of the pictures featured the Bawaal actor posing in front of the grand Ganpati idol. In another click, he was seen bowing down his head with folded hands. In the caption of his post, Varun Dhawan wrote, “Had the best darshan today at #laalbaghcharaja. गणपति बप्पा मोरया ☀️ (sic)”.
Prior to Varun, Kartik Aaryan also visited lalbaug. In photos and video shared by paparazzi, Kartik was seen wearing a pink coloured kurta with a pair of white pyjamas. The actor was seen accompanied by his team who helped manage the crowd.
Meanwhile, several other stars including Shilpa Shetty, Sonali Bendre and ace Bollywood designer Manish Malhotra also brought Ganpati home. Salman Khan’s sister, Arpita also welcomed Bappa to her residence. Shah Rukh Khan is also celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with Bappa at his home. Other stars including Akshay Kumar, Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu, Anushka Sharma, Ameesha Patel and Suniel Shetty also sent Ganesh Chaturthi wishes to fans via social media.
