Vicky Kaushal is in complete awe after watching Katrina Kaif’s Merry Christmas. On Friday, the actor took to his Instagram handle and penned down a long note praising his actress-wife for her “best work till date”. Vicky and Katrina tied the knot in December 2021.
Vicky Kaushal addressed Katrina Kaif as “love” and expressed that her “honesty and nuance” in Sriram Raghavan’s directorial is worth watching. “#MerryChristmas everyone! So freaking proud of you love for how beautifully you have surrendered yourself to Sriram Sir’s masterful story telling and to the complexities of ‘Maria’… her rawness, her mystery, her magic… all done with such honesty and nuance! And that dance… uff! This one’s truly your best work till date,” he wrote along with several red-heart emojis.

The Sam Bahadur actor further praised Vijay Sethupathi and added, “#VijaySethupati Sir… don’t know how you bring that childlike innocence in your characters but it’s pure joy to watch you bring Albert alive.” Vicky also mentioned that the climax of the film is mindblowing and urged everyone to visit theatres to watch the movie. “Go enjoy this thrilling fun ride in theatres near you!” he concluded.
Earlier today, trade analyst Taran Adarsh also shared the first review of the film. He called it a “gripping” thriller and added that Katrina Kaif is “terrific” in Sriram Raghavan’s directorial. Lauding Vijay Sethupathi, Taran Adarsh further mentioned that the actor is “splendid” and delivered a “standout” performance in the movie.
Starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, Merry Christmas also features Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, Tinnu Anand, Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, Rajesh Williams, and Pari. Ashwini Kalsekar and Radhika Apte will also be seen in cameos in the film.
Merry Christmas is produced by Ramesh Taurani, Jaya Taurani, Sanjay Routray and Kewal Garg. The film is now in theatres in Hindi and Tamil.
