'Even Dhanashree Got a Chance': Memes Galore as Fans Spot Chahal’s Wife in World Cup Anthem - WATCH
Yuzvednra Chahal's absence has already been a huge talking point among the fans and the experts. After noticing Cahahl's wife in the World Cup theme, the followers of the game have set social media ablaze with memes and posts.

The World Cup is just a few weeks away and the official broadcasters – Sport Sports Network – launched the anthem song for the mega ICC event on Wednesday. The 3-minute & 22-second-long single, which goes with the tagline ‘Dil Jashn Bole’, has been composed by renowned music director Pritam and features Bollywood star Ranveer Singh. The song is indeed exhilarating and perfectly captures the fondness of cricket in India. However, a section of fans noticed an interesting thing which has become a trending topic on social media.

While Ranveer Singh happens to be the lead in the anthem, several social media influencers like ‘Flying Beast’ Gaurav Taneja and comedian Nikunj Lotia (aka Be YouNick) could also be seen playing cameos in the video song. But what sent the fans into a frenzy was dancer Dhanashree Verma, wife of leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, sharing the screen with Ranveer.

Chahal failed to bag a spot in India’s squad for the World Cup 2023 as the selectors wanted to have a spin-bowling all-rounder in the squad who could bat down the order. Thus, the board named Axar Patel along with Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja.

The absence of the wrist spinner in the team has already been a huge talking point among the fans and the experts. After noticing Cahahl’s wife in the World Cup theme, the followers of the game have set social media ablaze with memes and screengrabs from the video.
