During the recent Paris Fashion Week, a model unexpectedly collided with the audience, creating a viral moment. A video which is currently doing rounds on social media shows the entire incident. The model was dressed as a giant furball and ended up getting lost during the show, crashing into guests seated in the front row and creating a fuss. The model also almost collided with Sam Smith as they performed live.

The incident took place during Christian Cowan’s Ready to Wear Spring 2024 show. It was hosted at the American Cathedral in Paris on Thursday. While Smith was performing a cover of ‘You Spin Me Round’ on a rotating stage, the model was seen strutting down the runway in a bizarre dress.
The moment captured eyeballs not only during the show but also on social media worldwide. Fashion page ‘Diet Prada’ uploaded the show on Instagram. “A model dressed as a giant furball got lost on the runway at Christian Cowan. Sam Smith helped redirect the furry wrecking ball before it crashed into the front row and the cathedral altar,” read the caption.

“What was the point of this? Made a joke of the show and the poor model must have received an earful after this,” commented an Instagram user. “Fashion is such a joke, I bet it was real fur too, how sad,” commented another person. Smith and Cowan also had funny reactions to the incident. Smith wrote, “WE HAD A BALL.” Cowan, on the other hand said, “She came into Paris Fashion Week like a wrecking ball. No models were harmed.”
