Team India announced the squad to take on Afghanistan in the home series on Sunday as skipper Rohit Sharma returns to the fold to lead the team in the series scheduled to begin on the 11th of January.
Star batsman Virat Kohli also returns to the lineup in the team named to play the Afghan unit touring India.

The three-match T20 series against the touring Afghanistan will get underway on the 11th of January at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali. The second match of the series is slated to take place on the 14th of January at the Holkar Stadium in Indore before the final game, which is scheduled to be played on the 17th at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
