Flamboyant batter Suryakumar Yadav missed out on India’s T20I squad for the three-match series against Afghanistan. Suryakumar, who is ranked the number 1 T20I batter, sustained an ankle injury during the T20I series against South Africa.
However, according to a recent report in the Times of India, Suryakumar has been diagnosed with sports hernia and is expected to travel to Germany to undergo surgery.
