AAP releases fifth list for Lok Sabha elections
The list includes candidates for the states of Assam, Bihar, Kerala, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday released its fifth list of candidates for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. The list includes names of 56 candidates for the states of Assam, Bihar, Kerala, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

Yet again Arvind Kejriwal has managed to get candidates who could easily grab people's eyeballs. Kargil war hero and Paramvir Chakra winner late Captain Vikram Batra's mother Kamalkant Batra will contest from Hamirpur against BJP MP Anurag Thakur, whereas IIM alumnus Satish Jain will fight elections from Mumbai North. Satish is an engineer and MBA from IIM-Bangalore.

AAP has fileded 28-year-old Sandeep Kumar from Munger in Bihar. Kumar is a software professional. JDU leader Rajiv Ranjan Singh is the sitting MP from Munger.

Another journalist has been given ticket AAP's ticket. Former CNN and Time journalist Anita Pratap will contest from Ernakulam in Kerala. Ex-IPS officer Suresh Khopade will fight from NCP chief Sharad Pawar's home turf Baramati. Pawar's daughter Supriya Sule represents Baramati.

AAP has so far declared names of 187 candidates for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.####
