AIADMK MP from Tenkasi Vasanthi Murugesan has switched allegiance from ousted leader TTV Dinakaran to the Palaniswami-Panneerselvam camp, alleging that the former is trying to merge with rival DMK. The reason why Dinakaran may be warming up to the DMK is a shared concern — the threat of an Income Tax investigation. Sources tell CNN-News18 that both the DMK and some members of Dinakaran’s family are under I-T scanner.
