Dehradun: An Uttarakhand BJP delegation on Sunday met Baba Ramdev's close aide Acharya Balkrishna, who is lodged in Suddhowala jail in Dehradun following his arrest on Friday in fake documents case, and expressed the party s support to him.
Balkrishna has been remanded to nine-day judicial custody on Saturday.
The delegation which was led by leader of the opposition Ajay Bhatt claimed that the central government was trying to break the proposed August 9 agitation of yoga guru Ramdev by arresting Balkrishna.
"The Dentre does not accept truth nor it wants to hear truth," Bhatt claimed.
"Congress has always sent all those people to jail who were opposed to corruption and its wrong policies. The BJP will expose the mask being worn by Congress leaders," Bhatt claimed.
