NDA had decided to boycott P Chidambaram in the House alleging his involvement in 2G spectrum scam.

New Delhi: Parliament was back to normal on Wednesday after nine days of disruptions on various issues but for BJP protests against Home Minister P Chidambaram who piloted a bill in the Lok Sabha.

BJP members shouted slogans 'go back, go back' as Chidambaram rose to reply to the debate on the New Delhi Municipal Council (Amendment) Bill 2010.

His reply could not be heard in the din.

"Chairman Sir, the Home Minister should go back because we have decided that we will not listen to him in the House," BJP member Ganesh Singh said addressing M Thambidurai who was in the chair.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal protested the opposition stand on the issue.

Ahead of the winter session of Parliament, NDA had decided to boycott Chidambaram in the House alleging his involvement in 2G spectrum scam during his tenure as Finance Minister.
