New Delhi: Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi assumes office with his Council of Ministers, his party, the Bharatiya Janata Party stands a divided house.

It is a known fact that Modi's Council of Ministers comprises of ministers mainly from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The West Bengal unit of BJP is reportedly upset with the Prime Minister for not giving the state any representation at all in his Council of Ministers.

It needs to be noted that BJP's vote share in Bengal had shot up to 17 per cent from 6 per cent.

Another state which is not ver happy with Modi's choice of ministers is Rajasthan where CM Vasundhara Raje Scindia had held a meeting with all her 25 MPs just before the oath taking ceremony. Rajasthan had delivered all 25 MPs from the state was given just one berth in the Council of Ministers and that too in a last ditch effort. Nihal Chand is the only minister from Rajasthan.

Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Satyapal Singh who registered a thumping victory in Baghpat by crushing sitting MP Ajit Singh is also sulking for not being included in the Council of Ministers.
