Mumbai: BJP on Monday said it plans to set up a social media centre for every Assembly constituency in Maharashtra ahead of the elections.
The decision was taken at a meeting in Pune on Monday, where senior members of BJP's social media cell discussed the strategy for the upcoming Assembly polls.
"We will start on a state-wide tour from July 11 and ensure that every constituency has a proper media centre, which will help us connect with the people," said Jiten Gajaria, district co-ordinator of BJP's social media cell.
"We will include a large number of college students in our endeavour to make BJP as accessible to the people as possible," he added.
